there grew a crowd of followers pacing behind the rotating object. the speed of the spinning blue white and copper orange slices of umbrella correlated to the intensity of their stupefaction, and they believed they could almost detect a luminous aura radiating off Gil’s umbrella when it spun quickly, or they thought that it was collapsing into an expanding nexus at the focal point of the umbrella when it was spun slowly. Gil was wholly unaware of this phenomenon.
